Every language edition so far has been a translated homepage linking out to the English site. This week, for the first time, we've fully translated an entire department into Japanese:
日本語で読める旅の計画
The Plan department hub and all three of its core guides are now fully written in Japanese, not just summarized:
- 初めてのソウル:完全オリエンテーションガイド (First Time in Seoul)
- ソウルの移動手段:地下鉄・バス・タクシー (Getting Around)
- ビザと入国:最新情報の確認方法 (Visa & Entry)
The Japanese homepage's Plan card now links directly into this translated section instead of back to English. One honest caveat: the site's navigation chrome (menu labels, "Home" breadcrumb) is still English for now — full UI localization is the next step once we've proven out the content translation workflow across a couple more departments.
Next up: translating Stay or Neighborhoods next, and continuing the restaurant profile series.
